Usher and Busta Rhymes did a mini concert at the wedding,' a source said. 'It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I've ever been to.'

Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke were also rumoured to be performing at the fete.

Pharrell and Helen, who have a four-year-old son named Rocket, have kept their private life largely out of the public eye.

The music mogul has had a busy year. Aside from his nuptials, Pharrell has had a number of collaborations top the charts. He was featured on Daft Punk's song Get Lucky and Robin Thicke's single Blurred Lines as well as two tracks on Jay-z's Magna Carta Holy Grail.

If that wasn't enough, the award-winning artist is also rumoured to be working on a fragrance.

Pharrell recently opened up to Details magazine about his creative process.
I create based on what I feel like is missing,' he told the mag. 'You jump in and follow your gut. It's like a sculpture—you're just adding on more clay, you're chiseling away and adding on until you feel like it's done, and you stand back and go, "Oh! It's a person."'

The Virginia-born rapper recently dipped his toe into controversy, however, when he defended Miley Cyrus for her twerking ways.

'You have to remember this is a 20-year-old evolving,' he said of Miley during an interview for the documentary Miley: The Movement.' Her dad is Billy Ray Cyrus, her godmother is Dolly Parton, and she’s raised in the era where hip-hop was king.'
