Unknown Gunmen Invade Calabar Prison, Free Inmates

     

Unknown gunmen allegedly stormed Afokang Prison in Calabar, Cross River state earlier today and started shooting uncontrollably to scare away officers on duty,Inmates were freed on the process of the crisis.

However, it has not been ascertained if anybody was killed in the incident but
Shops and other business outlets around the prisons have been closed down and security operatives had been drafted to the area to calm the premises.
