Public Holiday In Borno Today Because Buhari Is Visiting

           

Borno people will not be working officially today and most government office will be under the padlock because APC presidential aspirant General Mohammed Buhari is the big eminent the state will be having as a guest today.

Borno State Government announced that, it has declared Monday, 16th of February, 2015 as a work-free day in the State for the visit of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Presidential Candidate General Muhammadu Buhari.

The Secretary to the State Government Ambassador Baba Ahmed Jidda stated this in a statement issued to newsmen today, saying the gesture was to enable residents of the state welcome Buhari to the state for the presidential rally.

The Governor has also enjoined all Borno residents to come out enmasse and line up the streets to welcome the peoples’ general, according to the Statement.
