Sweden international striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed 50 names of starving
people in the world tattooed on his upper body.
The former Barcelona striker took off his shirt in celebration after scoring in his club, PSG’s 2-2 draw against Caen on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Ibra has hs fondly called shows support for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) by tattooing the
names of 50 hungry people helped by the charity onto his body.
Speaking with press men after the clash, the football star, who got a yellow card for taking
off his shirt, said:
‘Wherever I go people recognise me, call my name, cheer for me, there are names no one
cares to remember. That no one cheers for: the 805m people suffering from hunger in the world today.
‘I have the supporters all over the world. From now on I want this support to go to the people who suffer from hunger, they are the real champions.
‘So whenever you hear my name, you will think of the 50 names tattooed in my body.’
