Women In United Arab Emirates To Breastfeed Babies For Two Years Or Get Sued

Let me say maybe I wasn't amaze to learnt women in the United Arab Emirates have been mandated to feed their new born babies for at least two years before giving or introducing any food to a baby. After all that is how things suppose to be in its right sense but no thanks to civilian that has been claiming all this away in Nigeria.

But a new Child Rights Law in Arab Emirate just became effective this month states. Part of their new Child Rights Law, requires new moms to breastfeed their babies for two full years or their husbands could sue them if they fail to do so. The law furthermore states that, it is a human right for a child to be breast fed, and that nursing is now mandatory in the country. Some organizations have already been backing the law up with Quran, while others have kept mute.

This is a call to Mothers in government, Nigeria must take this bold step to having such a law in Nigeria for the betterment of new babies, as study says breast milk from mothers is more nourishing and good for babies than cow milk or other food for babies
