SORROW, TEARS AS MIC BURIES STAFF INVOLVED IN AGAGU’S PLANE CRASH
It was an outpouring of grief as the remains of Samson Hassan, 28, a photo-journalist working with M. I. C Caskets, who died in the Agagu plane crash of October 3rd, 2013, that also consumed his boss, Tunji Okusanya and five other staff, was committed to mother earth.Samson was buried by MIC Casket on Saturday, 12th October, at his uncompleted building in Ibafo, Ogun State.
As his body was laid six feet beneath, many could not help but cry at the unfairness of life to the young man. Samson left behind a wife and two children, the youngest of whom is less than two months old. Also, Samson’s father and elder sister died within three days of each other five months ago, thereby further sinking his aged mother into a well of gloom.

In an ironic twist, Samson’s colleague, Raji Ganiu who was supposed to be on the flight thanked God that he narrowly missed death. Ganiu recalls that if Samson had not gone for the assignment, it could have been him.

The crash occurred on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013, and Samson initially survived. Friends and family were optimistic that he would survive, but alas he gave up the ghost the next day.His bereaved mother Mrs. Hassan amid her tears called on the government at all level and well meaning Nigerians to support the young children Samson left behind. see more photos.
