Abductors of Bamigbetan, Ejigbo LCDA boss demand $1m ransom


The abductors of former Chief Press Secretary to immediate past Governor of Lagos State Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and incumbent Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Kehinde Oladapo Kolade Bamigbetan have demanded $1 million as ransom.

The abductors who got in touch with the wife made the demand of  the sum of $1million ransom if  he should be released alive.


Bamigbetan was said to have  been kidnapped by four gunmen on his way home from an event, after the close of work, as he was about  entering  his street, Ona Iwa Mimo Street in Ori Oke before Egbe Bridge in Ejigbo on Monday night at about 11Pm.
According to the Secretary to the Local Government, SLG, Mr Remi Gbadegesin, the abductors made a call to the wife from Bamigbetan’s phone and demanded for the sum of $1million as ransom before he could be released alive.
It was gathered that the abductors warned her (wife) not to involve the police or play pranks as well as  blow the issue out of proportion, and warned that any attempt to flout their directive could be grievous
