GIDI UP The much anticipated GIDI UP premiered on Wednesday @ 10pm. Gidi Up is a thrilling adventure centered around the lives of four friends in pursuit of happiness, success and independence. However, a few wrong choices quickly turn their Lagos dreams into a Gidi nightmare. Here's a run down of Episode 1. Welcome to Gidi; where the young are wild, free and fabulous! Let us crack those smoking mirrors and introduce you all to the gang; Obi, Tokunbo, Eki, Folarin and Yvonne. Young and hip in Lagos, all the characters appear to have it all; but things are not always as they seem. Tokunbo and his parents, Yvonne and the very strange relationship with Folarin, who is he, what does he want and who is this mystery man Yvonne seems reluctant to see? Obi is a hard working entertainer on his rise, but can a dodgy contract pull his soaring star back down to earth? With great expectations come even greater drama, tune in to episode 2 to follow the thrilling storyline.
