Reason My Relationship With The Father Of My Children Didn’t Work Out- Adunni Ade

Nollywood new face, Adunni Ade has explained why she is a single mom and how she lived with the father of her children for 8 years without tying the knot. According to Adunni, there’s nothing shameful about it and if she must say she is ready to face the music society attach to it. She also spoke about love, saying she loves hard, hitting she will one day get married. Hear her;

“I’m a sucker for love, I love hard, that’s why I take my time before diving into any relationship with the person I will love. I will do whatever I can in a relationship to make it work because I just don’t get involved with people anyhow. If the chemistry or connection is not there, then you would never find me there. But in my heart, if I feel like I have a connection with that person, I’d try and take it as far as I can and if I know it’s not going to work, I’d end it quick. But I am a big fan of love, Love is good. There is still some love out there even though people try to deny and say there is no more love; there is still love.”

Speaking about the father of her kids;

“I have said this, it’s not something I want to hide, it’s a part of me and I don’t think there’s any need to lie, or make myself look good or whatever, but I have never been married. I was with my ex, Michael Boyd, who is my children’s father for eight years, and things did not work out and I just let it go and that has been three years ago,” she said.

The Abuja Ministerial Blues By @Delemomodu

Fellow Nigerians, the story you are about to read is the stuff of fiction. Or better put, it is like a play or movie. One title that readily comes to mind is that beautiful stage-play, ‘A Play of Giants’, by foremost playwright, Wole Soyinka. It is an incredible tale of power in Africa’s biggest nation, Nigeria.
DELE-MOMODU1Let me start it like this. I departed Ghana for Dubai the very day General Muhmmadu Buhari was declared winner of the last Presidential election in Nigeria. As soon as I landed in Dubai, I received countless messages of congratulations which must have been hanging whilst I was in the skies. Some of the senders asked if I was in Abuja in order to come celebrate with me. But I was far from Nigeria and told them so. For me the mission was already accomplished and it was time to take a bow. I was not a member of APC but merely a volunteer and sympathiser.
I couldn’t ever believe that my response did not go down well with some people. Unknown to me, they had banked on riding me as their donkey to the corridors of power in Abuja. They were so sure I could get whatever I wanted from the incoming government. All explanations to the contrary from me fell on deaf ears. They were convinced I was just being pretentious and didn’t want to be of help. The more charitable ones did not stress me much but pleaded with me to remember them in my forthcoming paradise. I shook my head in utter incredulity. Of course, I did not go near Abuja for about two months thereafter although I continued to be pestered from far and near by supposed well-wishers.

10 Notable Quotes From PMB Independence Speech

As Nigeria/Nigerians celebrate the Independence day today,Nigeria at 55 the President Muhammed Buhari gave some reassuring speech today and amongst his speech were this selected words/statement the President made from his Speech..

1. No temporary problems or passing
challenges should stop us from honoring this
day. Let us remind ourselves of the gifts God
has given us.

2. We have all the attributes of a great nation.
We are not there yet because the one
commodity we have been unable to exploit to
the fullest is unity of purpose.

3. That we have remained together is an
achievement we should all appreciate and try
to consolidate.

4. Whatever one’s views are, Nigerians must
thank former President Jonathan for not
digging-in in the face of defeat and thereby
saving the country untold consequences.

5. I bear no ill will against anyone on past
events. Nobody should fear anything from me.
We are not after anyone. People should only
fear the consequences of their actions.

6. Every new government inherits problems.
Ours was no different. But what Nigerians
want are solutions, quick solutions not a
recitation of problems inherited.

7. There have been a lot of anxiety and
impatience over the apparent delay in
announcement of ministers. There is no cause
to be anxious. Our government set out to do
things methodically and properly.

8. Impatience is not a virtue. Order is more
vital than speed. Careful and deliberate
decisions after consultations get far better
results. And better results for our country is
what the APC government for CHANGE is all
about.

9. Change does not just happen. You and I
and all of us must appreciate that we all have
our part to play if we want to bring CHANGE
about.

10. We must change our lawless habits, our
attitude to public office and public trust. We
must change our unruly behavior in schools,
hospitals, market places, motor parks, on the
roads, in homes and offices. To bring about
change, we must change ourselves by being
law-abiding citizens.

PMB: Independence Speech: Why I sent Ministerial List Late

President Muhammadu Buhari explained this morning why he eventually sent the list of the first batch of his ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for the
Senate late yesterday.

According to him, the procedure for handing over to his government by the
immediate past administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan contributed to the delay in the appointment of cabinet members.

Buhari who made this explanation in a nationwide address broadcast live on national television and radio station at 7am this morning noted that he was not unaware of the anxiety and heat generated both home and abroad by the delay in appointing his ministers. He also hinted that he was yet to complete the nomination of ministers, saying he would forward additional names to the Senate for confirmation in due course.

Must Read:: S3x May Help Stop Postrate Cancer

S3x has always been seen as a pleasurable act despite medical experts saying it’s medicinal and a form of exercise. But a new study has showed that reaching orgasm, which is a climax of sexual excitement, characterised by feelings of pleasure centered in the genitals, has been found to reduce the likelihood of men having prostate cancer.

Interestingly a study also shows that apart from reaching the peak of s3xual enjoyment, an orgasm a day can lower a man’s risk of prostate cancer, which is one of the most common types of cancer in men who are about 40 years and above. So dear men, reaching orgasm is very important in s3x as it can help you reduce the risk of prostate cancer.

The Armageddon! The Lion Of Bourdillon Pitched Against The Tiger Of Ilorin… The Senate Story!!

Etcetera comes for APC and the Newly Elected Senate President Bukola Saraki in this one... Enjoy!

Remember the war over acronym between African Peoples Congress and All Progressives Congress? Remember how some politicians approached INEC to register another political party called African Peoples Congress, APC? I thought that was the beginning of the end of the All Progressives Congress. But the African Peoples Congress didn’t have the Lion of Bourdillon leading its charge, so it lost.

After winning the acronym war, APC was faced with another battle of selecting interim executives, with the merging political parties (Action Congress of Nigeria, All Nigeria Peoples Party, the Congress for Progressive Change, and a faction of the All Progressive Grand Alliance) insisting on holding the “juicy” leadership positions. Again, the party successfully weathered the storm.

@Delemomodu Pendulum: LEST WE FORGET THE HEROES

“Once you start thinking about financial security, you’re beginning to run the risk of eroding your true self…Once you start thinking about money… I’m not sure you’re going to be able to take the risks you need to take. You want to stay clear of that; let that part, hopefully, take care of itself.”-Robert Redford

Fellow Nigerians, it is important to remind ourselves that the victory we recently recorded at the polls didn’t just happen by chance, it occurred as a result of a combination of forces. As for me, I was never in doubt that it was possible and achievable. I knew it was going to be a tough battle but I knew with God on the side of Nigerians the miracle was going to happen.

PENDULUM @DELEMOMODU THANK YOU, PROFESSOR ATTAHIRU JEGA

“Most of us give up too early.
Failure is an absolute essential
In life.”
-Bryce Courtenay

“Risk it, go for it. Life always gives you another chance,
another go at. It’s very important to take
enormous risks.”
-Mary Quant

Fellow Nigerians, please permit me to congratulate us all on the success of the March 28 elections in our dear beloved country. But kindly allow me to single out one man, Professor Attahiru Jega, Chairman of INEC, for his exceptional performance. My darling wife has asked me to focus special attention on this perfect gentleman for doing such a thankless job almost perfectly. In Attahiru Jega we found the hope of a New Nigeria. Everything we are celebrating today would have evaporated and disappeared into thin air but for the kamikaze daringness of Jega and his glorious team.

I can't wait to be a Father------ Brymo

Nigerian singer Olawale Ashimi aka Brymo is an expectant father, and he’s revealed that he can’t wait to see his child. Brymo whose baby mama is heavily pregnant recently spoke to Punch where he expressed his excitement on being an expectant father.
In his words, ‘It feels exciting and I can’t wait to lay my eyes on the little one. The excitement is skyscraper high’. When asked why he chose to have a child out of wedlock, he said, ‘because a child is a product of love not of marriage. Marriage was made for men to get assistance from women and vice-versa, but society has bastardised the concept. I would rather pay attention to loving the woman I am with than seek the approval of society about it’.
Was the pregnancy planned, he was asked, and he said, ‘I wouldn’t wait till I am over 30 to venture into fatherhood. So, yes you can say it was planned. We’ve been together for at least three years. You’ll definitely know when we decide to get married
